More than 600 international J-1 participants sponsored by Alliance member organizations volunteered at the New York City Marathon on November 1, passing out drinks, snacks, cold sponges, ponchos and food bags to runners, providing assistance in the finish area as post-finish walk off marshals, and helping clean up after the race.
