The Collective Public Policy Voice of the Exchange Community

Alliance members hosted 26 different community service events in states around the U.S. to participate in “J Day” – the annual celebration of international exchanges. These events enable sponsors to connect exchange participants with their American hosts through meaningful and fun activities.

Each year, thousands of students come to the United States from all over the world eager to discover a new culture. J Day was founded in 2014 to facilitate that discovery. Under the motto “Eat, Play, Give,” sponsor organizations provided program participants an opportunity to enjoy American cuisine, share cultural diversity, and take part in volunteering in their host communities.

This year there were more activities than ever before. From canned good donations to city-wide clean ups, international students across the country served alongside community members. The growing success of J Day is proof that our members are providing valuable opportunities for exchange participants.
