Services to Members

As a professional association and membership organization, the Alliance offers its members an array of services to support them in their work of administering and promoting international exchange programs:

  • Professional representation for the international exchange community to policy makers in Congress, federal agencies, and elsewhere.
  • Comprehensive monitoring of the policy developments affecting international exchange through the Alliance's Policy Monitor, a source for timely, authoritative reporting on international exchange news and policy trends.
  • Leadership in organizing the international community as an effective constituency for its goals and programs.
  • Workshops, presentations, and meetings on policy-related issues, best practices, and advocacy skill development for member organizations, including our annual Advocacy Day, annual Membership Meeting, and the formation of Task Forces.
  • Publication of the International Exchange Locator, the most comprehensive directory available on U.S.-based organizations, federal agencies, and Congressional offices involved with international exchange.
  • Special policy studies and other articles on issues of interest to the international exchange community.
