Clinton's "folksy" style of diplomacy

The New York Times profiled Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s recent trip through Africa on Saturday, characterizing the voyage as a representation of the people-to-people and “folksy” style of diplomacy she has developed during her time in office:

“Her style is to go heavy on the politics, heavy on the policy, but mix in some real people as well.”
