The Sales Development Manager for Au Pair in America (APIA) will be responsible for finding new host families and meeting sales targets through, training, and motivating the field network of community counselors in 40 states.

The successful candidate will create and execute a strategic sales plan in conjunction with the Au Pair in America Director and the AIFS Chief Marketing Officer. This includes analysis and reporting on year-to-year “cluster”(geographic area of supervision) comparisons of au pair communities throughout the U.S.

The right individual will work with APIA community counselors to increase the size of their cluster through targeted advertising, public relations, and training and development; to grow the host family network through increase referral programs including community counselors, current host families, and au pairs; to research and provide market data to assure APIA’s competiveness; to provide recommendations for expansion based quarterly analysis of clusters; and to travel to visit clusters and participate in community events throughout the U.S.

The right individual for this position will have extensive knowledge of childcare programs and/or childcare customer networks, 3-5 years experience in sales as well as managing field sales networks. , proven relationship building and communication skills, and an excellent history of sales development. The position requires extensive travel throughout the U.S.
