New York, New York (July 20, 2011)—AIPT and CDS have shed their long-held names in favor of a new name for their recently merged organizations: Cultural Vistas. The mission of Cultural Vistas is to enrich minds, advance global skills, build careers, and connect lives through international exchange.

Rob Fenstermacher, CEO, Cultural Vistas, states: “Our programs enable people and organizations to learn new perspectives, share knowledge and exchange best practices in a global context. These experiences promote greater cultural understanding and cooperation to pursue new opportunities and to solve key issues facing our world. Cultural Vistas holds an active partner network in over 100 countries, and offers international internships and training, professional fellowships, work and study abroad programs, study tours and short-term experiential programs. It is designated by the U.S. Department of State as a J-1 visa sponsor in five categories: Intern, Trainee, Teacher, Camp Counselor, and Summer Work and Travel.
