Department of State announces first international exchange with USA Volleyball

On Tuesday, the Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) announced its first-ever partnership with USA Volleyball, which brought 50 volleyball coaches from Caribbean Nations to the U.S. to allow them "to gain a broader understanding of the culture and sports traditions worldwide."

The delegation of coaches from Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Trinidad and Tobago will stay in the U.S. for one week until next Tuesday, June 28, and will travel to Phoenix, Arizona to meet with American coaches and participate in coaching seminars and clinics, according to the Department of State's website.
