F U L L M E M B E R S H I P

The Alliance's full membership program is intended for international exchange organizations in the United States who want to be players in the broader exchange community as it works to shape international exchange policy, and who want regular access to comprehensive information about policy developments affecting international educational and cultural exchange. Membership dues are based on the size of the organization.

In addition to the opportunity to support the common goals and interests of the exchange community, members receive the following benefits: 

Board membership participation in a variety of task forces created to address policy issues leadership opportunities access to policy makers through Alliance meetings and advocacy efforts a voice in shaping the Alliance's policy and advocacy agenda through the formulation and development of its strategic goals.

A F F I L I A T E S P R O G R A M

The Alliance's Affiliates Program is intended for organizations or individuals who want regular access to comprehensive information about policy developments affecting international educational and cultural exchange and who are currently affiliated with a full Alliance member. For example, several Alliance Affiliates are Councils for International Visitors (affiliated with the National Council for International Visitors) or universities who are members of a higher education association such as NAFSA or the Association of International Education Administrators. To see if your organization/institution is affiliated with a full alliance member, contact the Alliance. An affiliate membership supports ongoing Alliance advocacy activities on behalf of international exchange policy.

Affiliates also receive:

Electronic delivery of the Alliance's Policy Monitor -- the most comprehensive and detailed source of information available about issues ranging from funding for key federal programs to developments in agency programs.

The Alliance's Subscribers Program is intended for individuals who want regular access to comprehensive information about policy developments affecting international educational and cultural exchange, but do not represent an exchange organization or belong to one of the Alliance member organizations. Subscribers might be federal agency officials, Fulbright Commission staff, or educational and cultural attachés from foreign embassies. A subscriber membership supports ongoing Alliance advocacy activities on behalf of international exchange policy.
