International Exchange Locator
The Alliance has jointly published the International Exchange Locator: A Resource Directory for Educational and Cultural Exchange with the Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs since 1994. The most extensive inventory of international exchange organizations and programs available anywhere, the Locator contains information on:
- Hundreds of nongovernmental, U.S.-based organizations engaged in international exchange programs and services;
- Exchange programs offered throughout 30+ federal agencies, departments, and bureaus, as well as 50+ Fulbright Binational Educational Foundations and Commissions;
- The Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, other State Department branches, the U.S. Administration for International Development, and Department of Homeland Security offices involved in the administration of international exchange programs;
- More than 10 House and Senate committees with oversight over exchange programs, and a breakdown of the specific subcommittee with jurisdiction over exchange programs.
The Locator is an invaluable resource for exchange practitioners, international students, job seekers, embassy officials, students looking for financial aid, or anyone looking for information on international exchange programs.
The 2011 International Exchange Locator is currently in production and will be for sale in late 2010. Check back in this space for more details.
